Reminds me of Andrew Keen. Who's really shit.
His proposition that the information revolution has made myth and hysteria more widespread seems pretty lame. Hoaxs and conspiracies have always been popular. The internet has made the truth, discussion and debate democratic and accessible. The truth ultimately gets out, and dominates discourse.
The rise of debate of alternative theories and politics only shows that democracy is healthier than ever. Most of the things he rails against, while retarded, are fairly harmless. Who cares.
