Hey guys, I'm stuck on this question;
Find the equation of the straight line passing through -2,3 and making an angle of 53'8' with the x-axis.

Apply the one-point gradient formula or point-gradient formula (w/e its called lol)

U need a POINT and the GRADIENT

(-2,3) (yes! we have a point!)

Now, gradient.... m.... we dont have it, so we must recall that m = tan(theta) = tan(53'8')

And there u have it, a point and the gradient, enough to find the line!

same thing. multiply both sides by 3 then move the y over. the form they gave you is the general form and the answer you got is the gradient-intercept form.
