Context diagram (1 Viewer)

Quick question -

In a context diagram, do the arrows representing data flow need to be labelled with what data is being transferred?:confused:

i disagree with you
i think it is very important that you show what data is flowing from one entity to a process and then back to the entity!
reason for this is that the data changes

nothing specific - sorry, i meant nothing like coding variables or stuff like that.

i hated context and data flow diagrams....thats why prolly...i forgot em straight after ipt hsc exam!

yes i belive you will not gain marks...there....as labelling data flows are a part of the diagram ...remember next time....:)

lol.... not labelling the data flows in DFDs...

then there will be no point to the diagram!!!

i label my context diagrams only....as far as i remember....pardon me if im wrong...as i havent touched the diagrams since 22nd October 2003 :D

you must label everything!
if your going to label for a DFD might as well do it for a context which is way easier!

hehe, here are 2 examples which i did answering some questions on this forum last year :)



take note that the second diagram can be classified as a context diagram (well it basically is a context except it has bits added onto it)
ok if i didn't label all the flow of data would you have any clue what was going on?! o_0
