which one would be more feasible?

Format 1
-Theme / Point
-evidence in text (Techniques and quotes, and what the composer is implying)
-Reading1 (Explain what they would value, support with techniques and quotes)

Format 2
-Theme / Point
-integrate the reading throughout the evidence in the text(Techniques and quotes, and what the composer is implying + what the specific readings will value).

Hmm. I don't understand what is in Format 2, so I would say Format 1 seems the way to go. I will be attempting to go by Theme, giving examples and incorporating the readings with the examples I think :S

Personally, i'm going with whatever seems to suit the question. I just have all my points and quotes and readings linked together in my head to start and go from there.
