Are you guys doing 2 units test at school? I have to do it although i m doing 4 units maths now. Can some one plz explain what is the point of doing 2 units test while that mark doesnt count in the UAI.

If you drop extension two you will have a mathematics mark to fall back on which you school can submit to the Board.

yea thats the same in all non selective schools (i am just assuming). You do the 2U assessments until the trials or something just incase u decide to drop later on

It also helps reinforce your knowledge of the basics. So use it as an opportunity to do this. I've known people who did really well in Extension 2, almost failed their 2 unit assessment tasks....and they were really thankful that it didn't count lol
