I know I sound like I'm just scabbing for answers. But the truth is I don't have answers to these MC questions.

So can someone post what they think the answer is so I can check if my answers are right??

without hvaing looked at a biology textbook since the trials i'll take a guess
i think Q1 is refering to pastuers postulates in which case if it is
the answer is C ... but if it isn't then i'd agree with jims and go B
and for Q2 the answer is B

no i don't think that movt of materials in xylem is both up and down....it is just upwards from the roots to diff parts of the plant....

i think water only goes one way- up xylem, and nutrients and stuff can go up and down phloem

but yeh those questions r really dodgy
