describe the reaction of the formation of a condensation polymer

apart from the fact that WATER IS MADE as well, is there anything in
particular that we need to know?

(BTW- it doesnt have to be water, its just the HSC doesnt cover anything else)

condensation polymers are just the reaction of alkene monomers to produce a polymer plus a small molecule such as water. thats pretty much all we need to know, plus examples such as cellulose from glucose or something like that.

Alkene monomers undergo addition polymerisation.

Glucose is not an alkene and cellulose is not an addition polymer.

Serge: Don't forget to mention functional groups.

Weirdkhar: Revise alkenes and both forms of polymerisation.
