Comparison Texts ideas!? (1 Viewer)

Ok, considering you (in my naive opinion) seem smart enough, I was wondering if anyone off the top of their head, had any good ideas for two "texts" to compare. And if you say Emma and Clueless I'm gonna punch you in the neck.

Long story short, I'm doing a "ext 1 english" version at tafe and need a comparison of two texts....
and I can't think of sh*t!!!
I liked ?????'s comparison to the Simpsons and Shakespeare - but obviously I wouldnt know where to start on doing a plagerism of that...(lol)

Anywho - post ideas here...and if I choose your idea, you get to be in my bibliography/ Harvard referencing thing....

ummm r u looking for a specific genre or style???

I suppose you could just look for adaptation, which clueless was of Emma. (sorry for mentioning that but I can't think up any examples)

no specific genre in mind - but not something irritating and done to death like feminism (not a fan)
something clever and quirky like the guy who did simpsons/shakespeare - you'd never think of it until someone else does
