i dont do com science but i am in one of the computer courses, so i can comment on the facilities.
WEll from my own experience, computers sucked at my high school so uni computers were like 10 times better. tho after a semester you know the real deal:
- computers are dual boot with win 2k and linux
- you get a password and 50mb hdd space (this is for computing students only) so that means you will have 2 computer accounts, 1 for computing and 1 for general while other students only get 1 general account
-you get 25 dollars credit for printing i.e. $25 free printing
-as a computing student, you can get a job working at the uni as a procter (It support)
access computer accounts at home
bad stuff;
-computers sometimes lag like hell coz of too many students on the network
-hard to get one sometimes
-the monitors look weird (high res)

thats about it, hope i didnt bore you out

oh yeah, remember to ask yourself 'do you like programming?' before you choose. its a ton of programming. i did It vet in HS and thought wow It is easy and i found out about programming i just froze...

Thanx for the info, it seems cool doing a degree and working as an IT support at the uni.
And also I love programming, (not more than women though :p ), C, x86 Assembly, Perl and anything technical related like networking, security etc.

Thanx for your help klh!
