Is ANU any good for commerce/arts. I plan to study commerce and a language. How does ANU compare to USYD, NSW and Macq?

Well as far as 2008 is concerned.. It's Australia's number one ranked Uni.. So that's good enough for me!

Commerce/Arts seems like a great combination.. what language are you thinking of doing
