guitar.

but in saying that my other friend in the band who plays guitar writes 90% of the material because im not really a metal guitarist at all. i just play it because we're all friends in the band.

but i think the demos came out good. track 2 is my favourite of the 3 we recorded. but fuck its a bitch to play. i went nuts in the studio to get some of the parts down.

groupies ahoy!

oh shit.............metal don't get groupies.......its 99% guys at their gigs...........and the only girls are fat ones.

i need to start a sleazy generic rock n roll band.

Surprisingly clean, i was expecting that sloppy recording stuff you hear all over myspace.
I felt that the first link (i think that was track 2) was good cause i liked the riff at the start =]

thanks man.

hahahah i know the recordings ur talking about.

the ones where the band just hangs a microphone from the ceiling and plays away.

now we just need to get it that tight sounding when playing live.

lol its gonna be a disaster

Whoa, some cool metal riffs you got going there, drummer sounds like an awesome thrash drummer.

Now...overdub some guitar solos and when are the vocals coming? :p

I really like this stuff, especially Track 2, your music has a very Testament feel I think. Do you plan to put lyrics to them, or are they meant to be instrumental?

What do you use to record the guitar?
well we recorded these so the bassist and vocalist could write stuff to them and learn the songs. but i think they turned out pretty good that it'd be cool to have vocals and bass on recorded on them.

but right now we're busy writing more songs. we have 5. trying to get to 8. and then a cover.

the guitar was recorded with a shitty mg100dfx combo. mic'd with an sm57 mic i think.

yeah i'd love to b a roadie for a band. come on stage, play a few E chords on the guitar, TWO ONE TWO TWO, TESTING ONE TWO TWO.

an hit the drums one at a time untill the sound guy tells me to change drums, then play a simple drum beat.

then go out back do a few lines of coke an rock out with filming the gig!
thats my dream

but roadies have to be the last person to go to sleep and the first people to be awake.

setting up the stage, soundchecks, searching for only blue m&m's..............

SAE college in surry hills.

its some college with a bunch of studios in it. vocalist in the band goes there.

im guessing sae stands for sound and audio engineering college.
