I have just applied for Intermediate French A, the lecture of which happens to clash with lecture for International Relations: Conventions and Challenges - one of the core courses for International Studies/Law. Because there is only one Intermediate French A Lecture, should I drop the International Relations Con and Challenges course, then reenrol for another time? Or, should I just apply for a Timetable Clash application? It's also a red clash, so idk. I have called the School of Humanities and Languages and they advised me to fill out the application but I would rather not miss any of the classes. :S

Thanks in advance!

Contact the lecturer, and if they say the clash is OK (Quite likely since it is minimal) then contact your school office if you have any trouble enrolling (ie: if you cannot do it yourself online). They will override it for you.
