Hey all. I'm planning on doing Chinese beginners this year and was wondering what past ppl have thought of the course. I know a couple of people who dropped out of beginners languages because they couldnt keep up. Is it really a ridiculous pace? Anyone else out there thinking of doing it?

hello....i'm thinking of doing chinese as well...but because I've studied it before I have to do a placement test - hopefully to get into the intermediate class...

apparently the lecturers aren't that good....have you thought about going to a chinese school outside of uni? There's a good one at Surry Hills called Sydney Chinese School (ha...original i know) where i go to now. There's also one at Chatswood.

it's so bad...i'm in a class with all these year 7/8 people coz i'm not that good yet...come join and we can be old together! hahaha.
