I was told that its a proven study that chewing gum or lollies while studying and while in exams helps you perform better ( dont ask me how!!!!) So i was wondering do you think if you went into the exam room with chewing gum they would make you spit it???

I have been using this theory while studying and i seem to be able to concentrate better then ever before!!!

Yeah, I read an article on chewing gum and memory so I've been chewing constantly while studying. I figure it can't hurt to try!

i tried it during the trials. there didnt seem to be any detrimental effects (besides making it harder to hold in the need to go to the bathroom...maybe its just me *shrugs) and it does seem to keep you a little bit more alert and pumped. i think my pace was a bit more constant rather than having to go through the usual 15 minute rush at the end.

I chew gun all the time while I'm studying but only because it's a really good way of releasing stress when you can't get a question right

I chew my pens and my pen lids or the straws of poppers when im trying to work. Very theraputic but i go through alot more pens......

I think its meant to reduce stress or something. ive never really tried it though, i should.

Can't you just put it in ur pocket? and take it out in exam, when they'r not looking, or hide it under your tounge? Do they check your pockets for food and stuf lol.

yeah i read it in Girlfriend today, so i went to tut.. then this guy went to coles and i told him to get me elispe gum, then he came bck with those.. boxed ones.. arhg..

anywho i brought gum before i went home hehe .. ^^ thanks for coming with me alm. anywho .. he thinks it not trueeee...
