hey, has anyone been to see/ going to see Grinspoon, Jebediah and In the Grey on their tour. I saw them tonight at the Castle hill tavern, thought it was alright.
In the Grey were very tight, and had some a decent songs, they would be a good band if there was a decent mosh happening.
Jeb's were sounding great, a few too many new ones for my liking, but the old stuff rocked out, Star Machine was a highlight.
Grinners played too many slow, stadium rock songs. They ripped out some good thrash songs like more than you are and champion, but there was too much break in the middle. The slow songs sound awesome, but i wanna hear the fast stuff when i see a live band.
The sound was pretty good, the security were cunts - they couldnt handle circle pits and threw out too many innocent people like my brothers mate.
Overall a good show, but not a great show.
