i know this is a bit late to be asking, but...

what ideas of changing self should we be studying most for?

2002 HSC: examine how composers use texts to explore concepts of changing self
2001 HSC: how has your understanding of the consequences of change been shaped by the techniques used by various composers

u have to be prepared for anything they throw at u. but essentially the question is always the same...they just put in words there to confuse u. like i'll probably write that change is inevitable happens as a result of rite of passage like in sky high with the age thing and away with the change in attitude and the changes that coral goes through...

If u look at the last two years' questions, they are asking exactly the same thing, except conveyed through different words, and the fact that 2001's question was asking for consequences of change
The pattern should continue, so expect a similar type of question on Monday

2002 -> concepts
methinks they are workin backwards and end up askin about the start of change or something like that
