Probably a stupid question but..

My UAI is 80.0 and I want to make a transfer from B Science (Molecular Biotechnology) to B Computer Science and Technology which has a lower UAI cut-off about 75.

Haven't been doing so well last year failing a couple of subjects, and hope to study heaps this year to increase my chances of transferring.

So how likely would I be able to transfer to this course? If I got credit average this year, will they take into account my failed subjects last year?

yes they take into account your tertiary studies for last year and this year, which means unfortunately for you, they take into account your failed subjects
if you dont mind me asking, what grades did you achieve last year?
i think you should be fine if you get a high pass/credit average, and that you dont fail anymore subjects this year
good luck
