Hi, I am currently enrolled in my first year of undergraduate studies after completing year 12 last year. I am considering applying to UNSW Undergraduate Medicine, however not sure whether my ATAR of just over 96 will be sufficient, in conjunction with Uni results and UMAT, to recieve an interview. UNSW say they take into account Uni results and ATAR in a 50:50 ratio, with the applicant having to maintain an academic rank of 96. What does this mean in regard to Uni marks? Basically I'd just like to know whether I would have a low/reasonable/good chance of receiving an interview (with excellent Uni marks and excellent UMAT) even though my ATAR only just meets the minimum cutoff.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks!
