ok, so im doing a more traditional reading of king lear, an im basing quite a bit on the idea of the chain of being, and how it is against gods will to change your position in the heirarchy (so when KL gives out his land it disrupts the order of everything and everthing in his sphere of influence erupts in chaos etc)
Also this makes sense with the females being in a position of complete power, which was against the will of god.
BUT, i cant find a good, in depth chain of being to talk about, i saw one once which had everything like gods, angels, demons, Kings, queens, noblemen, peasants, females, Lion, other animals all the way down to minerals.
just wondering if you guys either had one, or knew how i could get a good really in depth one. thanks
