Where do people go to buy cds? like you know, which shops.
I never buy cds from sanity, or any other rip offs.
Dick smith electronics is a pretty good place, also Utopia (in sydney city), and ten second down.

JB HiFi at Parra and Bankstown are awesome...quite often they'll have new albums for $19! +they've got imports too!
And for harder to find CDs (punk/hardcore) I go to Resist Records in Newtown.
Utopia and Red Eye aren't bad for collectable CDs.

JB Hifi is good for cheap cds.
or second-hand stores, like soundgarden (at hurstville) - if you can be content waiting for some cds you can get them a lot cheaper.

k-mart and big w sell chart cds from $20-25 usually.

Sometimes you can get a two-CD (Audio + Dvd) for around that... where at other places you need to fork out like 30+.

I reckon theyre better live, they played one song called "Loose" which was a 10-15min improvised song and I was hooked all the way through!

The guy in both photos is the singer of the Dandys :)

Dirt Cheap CDs is the best place for CDs...if they happen to have anything you want.
Dept. stores like K Mart usually have new release CDs for about $22, but older CDs are usually about $30...whereas places like Sanity always charge $30 or so for new CDs, but you can sometimes get older releases more cheaply.
If you want rare stuff, Utopia is probably better than Red Eye in terms of prices. I have also spotted a few rarities in Borders, which was kinda surprising...

Dirt Cheap is on Pitt Street...I don't know the street number, but if you get off the train at Town Hall, and go out the Monorail Station exit, it is basically just across the road from there.
