How did you find out the pay rates for woolies? I work at Woolies, am 17 and ain't getting $11 p/h. When I was 16 I remember I was getting like $8.30 p/h. I'm getting more than that now, I will find out next time I work (haha, I don't even know how much I get paid).

And, wtf, Big W people get paid less, suck shit to them. Aren't both owned by the same company though, wtf I thought they would get paid the same.

interesting... but are you sure those are the recent figures?
there the most recent i can find, a lot of companies seem 2 be having new awards coming into affect, and the wagenet site is crap for searching.

in any case, i would expect that recent figures would be up (if infact, mine are wrong)

i am quite happy to be corrected, and will endeavour, where possible, to have up to date figures

bunnings pays $9.62 starting wage, it changes once you turn 17 (so if you start working and you are 15, you still get $9.62, but it still is the same at 16)

ill go ask my mate what he gets, he is 17 and works tehre

Hey. Not sure if I'm misinterpreting the string "CASUAL RATES FOR ORDINARY HOURS WORKED", but these are not the actual casual rates. At least, not for woolies. I've worked there for almost two years now, and I can tell you your figures [for woolies] are pretty correct, but they're the non casual rate. To get the casual rate, you add 20% of that figure onto it.

So, I'm currently 18, and my non casual rate is $12.4777. So, my casual rate is $12.4777 plus 20% of $12.4777 [=2.49554]

So, casual rate for me is $12.4777 + 2.49554 = $14.97 :drink: << and here's where it all goes.
