cant delete anything?!?! (1 Viewer)

hey

i cant delete anything on my comp....can someone tell me why?

i think its something to do with everything being marked "read only" except i cant unmark that?!?!?!?!

it comes up like "this is write protected" or something

someone please help!!!

Something else is using the file. Is there another program open that might be using it that you know of? Can you be a bit more specific?

i go into my docs.

My Pictures is marked "Read only"

i unclick read only - apply - done

go back into the properties of my pictures....its marked read only again

inside my pictures some files arnt marked read only and some are

BUT all folders are....soo...i can delete all the files inside the folders but not the folders

ctrl + alt +delete and end the explorer.exe process.
start a new process called command.exe.

Locate the file through the command prompt.
delete file through the command prompt.

start a new process called explorer.exe

can't remember prompt commands but google.com is friendly.

Theres a program called "WhoLockMe" which is like a tiny tiny program which can tell which program is currently using the file if that is what is not allowing you to delete it. Its like 22k. But it does the job.
