Can a franchise be a small business? - KFC (1 Viewer)

Hey all

Umm i have to do a research task on a small business and i am thinking about doing KFC in tahmoor since i work there.

I know it is owned by two people and is run under the name of KFC but can it be counted as a small business?

Approxmityly 40 people work there currently.

Also what business type would it be? is it a manufactuture because its changing the raw material of chicken into products?

well i wasnt sure if fast food came under manufacture because its changing the raw chicken into a product.

Well when i was in year 11, my teacher said that it MIGHT be ok if you do a franchise in a particular area, as long as you checked with her first.

i gunna ask tomorrow many people asked "can i do a maccas store but not the whole franchise just the one store" and i am sure he said yes.

Also even tho its small he has let sum1 do a medium accounting business


so i think i should be allowed to
