a thread to talk about Browning's poetry . . .

so far, my class has studied Porphyria's Lover - quite disturbing i must add!

haven't read them yet.

i haven't seen (just yet) how these poems are related to individual and society . . . hmmmmm only time will tell!

do u guys do a poem called 'Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came'?? I love it i did it for my adv eng rtf (imaginative journeys)

an rtf is a related text folio...it's where ur teacher goes i cant b arsed giving u anymore related texts so go find some of your own and analyse and annotate them. so 'childe roland to the dark tower came' was one of the related texts i picked myself..that's why it's not on the list.

andrea del sarto is one of the more dull Browning essays set for study IMO. I'm pretty sure I'll use The Laboratory for the HSC though..what about everyone else?
