Indeed they did, but the exam is entirely multiple choice and from what the instructor told us, they're not all that well defined.

Margaret is very fair. It is likely that the average marks from each lab would be similar. So your marks MAY go up if the averages in your lab is lower than others. However, I don't think your marks will decrease.

And to the additional reading thing, yes some questions would be based on the tut CD stuff if you still get those in your year. And also some questions may require some deeper understanding of what is in the lecture notes.

I remember some questions that I got was like "what the hecks??" and I swear I've never seen it before! (probably somewhere in the CD or in the textbook)

hmmm, I think they average it out before giving the marks out. Not too sure. But one of my friend who was marked by the same marker as me, got 80.

What did you get sikeveo? Surely it can't be that bad.

Did I miss out on much in that silly ol research lecture? I would have gone...but, you know. Last lecture on second last day? I don't think so.

I'm not saying I did bad, it's just that I want to get a decent mark at the end, and every mark counts. I got 86. Shouldn't have used websites as references.

And nebuchanezzar, you didnt miss much. I slept through it.
