I like that.

Judas Rising - Judas Priest
I don't think the Priest have ever gone wrong with their openers, even on albums like Turbo the opener is still reasonable...

Sexx Laws - Beck (Midnight Vultures) and The Golden Age (Sea Change)
Straight Outta Compton - NWA (Straight Outta Compton)
Taxman - The Beatles (Revolver)

And as others have said, Disorder - Joy Division (Unknown Pleasures) and Teenage Riot - Sonic Youth (Daydream Nation)

Umm doesn't mojopin open that album?
Yes, "Mojo Pin" is track one, while "Grace" is track two.

"J'y Suis Jamais Allé" - Amélie soundtrack
"Come Home" - Placebo (self-titled)
"Mother Earth" - Within Temptation
"Hotel Room" - Fionn Regan
"Brighter than Sunshine" - Aqualung

Tracks I think should be openers:
"Another Little Hole" - Aqualung (such a beautiful song)
"Halo" - The Cure

usually this doesnt bother me, if i like the group/singer i usually like any song...but i have to say the worst, just in contrast, is "Operation Spirit (The Tyranny of Tradition) - Awake: The Best of Live. Its a horrible reflection of the rest of the music on that album, makes me not want to listen to it at all..

anyway..

"Around the World" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Californication is an absolutely awesome kick starter...as well as "Megalomaniac" on Incubus' Crow Left of the Murder. :)

I could have said Hellion, but that's just too short.
