Hi everyone, for my first assessment task we were asked to write a formal speech on belonging, about two different texts. One of which has to be a aural, which im thinking of doing 'we are australian' and the other can be on any form. I'm contemplating wether or not to do the movie Gran Torino.
Any body think its a good idea?
If so any help would be appreaciated.
Ive only really got loads of qoutes i can bind in with belonging.
Thanks :D

No one's going to reassure you that Gran Torino is the best movie to do for belonging.

As for the aural text, the song is ok, but if you're up to the challenge:

My teacher seemed to think that Gran Torino was a great idea.
I have ditched the song choice though. I'm now thinking more of Barack Obamas inauguration speech and Gran Torino.
any better?
