Is the selection process for majors based on your enter? I want to do actuarial studies, which im guessing is pretty popular, so do i need to get an enter above the clearly-in score of 95 to secure a place in actuarial studies?
so: A study score of at least 38 in VCE Specialist Mathematics 3/4 or equivalent; or 620-158 Accelerated Mathematics 2; or permission from the Director of the Mathematics and Statistics Learning Centre.
"permission from the Director of the Mathematics and Statistics Learning Centre": this is pretty much either a short talk/interview to see if you're committed to learning (if you had gotten say, 36-37 in spesh) or a test (usually for the internationals who havent done spesh.
alternatively you can take calculus 2/linear algebra (requires something like 30 in spesh), but the actuary guys want you in 620-157.
