Lol, this happens all the time. People don't read the requirements and get all shitty when they don't work. True story, one of the guys that used to work at GAME got so pissed off at those types of people.

Ive been there when customers used a serial key to find out all their hardware is obsolete.

get vista anyway
Screw Vista. Windows 7 > Vista.

Plus seeing that he's still using XP, he surely can't have a very powerful computer... or one powerful enough to comfortably run the ridiculously processor-heavy Vista.

I checked the system requirements already. But there were people talking about a patch for xp =\

And vista totally sucks. So effing slow( had experience with it... And hated it sooo much) And 7 on the otherhand is good but not alot of programs that I use support 7 well..

If there isn't any way to use bf3 on xp then... I'll just install win 7...

Ps. I've got a pretty good processor that's put in place with graphic cards and all those technichy stuff

Those people were talking out of their ass. The latest version of Direct X required for BF3 is not designed to work on XP so it would have been impossible.

Advise your brother next time to make sure he reads the system requirements before purchasing.

Just dual boot so you can use win7 for this any anything else you need it for and keep XP as main.
