jus a small q.

is ur raw mark in the HSC exam ur 'band mark', or is it the 'scaled' mark? i am thinking its the latter. ie- if u get 89 in phy(raw), is ur hsc exam mark 89 or 90+(assuming it scales up). therefore, would u get a band 5 or band 6 for phy.

oh and if it is, to find ur 'scaled mark' would we put our prediction of raw mark in the hsc exam into the lazseeker/uaiseeker?

thanks.

The 'band mark' is your aligned HSC mark - the average of the aligned exam mark and the moderated assessment mark.

A raw mark of 89 in physics will only end up as an aligned mark of 90+ if the BOS judges decide that in this particular year such a mark was equivalent to a band 6 performance.

As input, LazSeeker takes aligned HSC marks and the UAISeeker takes percentiles. Neither deal with raw marks, and both report scaled marks.

See this document for more info on the aligning process.
