Bad internals + good HSC: still possible to get a 75+ ATAR? (1 Viewer)

So I just had a question: so far, my internal scores haven't been the best. My rankings are rock bottom but I was wondering, if I worked super hard and did amazingly in my external HSC(say averaging Band 5-6 in all subs), could I still achieve my goal ATAR of 75+? I know its really unrealistic but I really need to know so if someone can clarify this soon, it would be greatly appreciated.

it of course depends on how bad your internals are but it should 100% be possible. If you can get 70-75 moderated for internals and 85 aligned for externals, you can still get 75+ with most subject combinations. You need to try really really hard in trials tho and keep it up for HSC

at most schools, as long as your raw intenrla marks atm are around 50%, they should be moderated to around 70-75, but ofc this depends on the school, and how well you all perform in the HSC. If you do well in HSC, it can even lift your internals slightly depending or not if you are last
