Benefits[/h]Students selected into one of these degrees will receive the following:
Domestic students will receive a Melbourne National Scholarship, providing:
- HECS exempt Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP); and
- Annual allowance of $5000; or
- For interstate students an annual allowance of $10,000 and one return flight home.
In addition students will be guaranteed access to:
- Global Scholars Award ($2500 to support an approved study abroad or exchange program during undergraduate studies if you have an overall weighted average of at least 65% at the time)
- An internship
- Targeted academic enhancement opportunities.
Students who are offered an international enrolment in these courses will be guaranteed an international fee place in any of the professional entry master (coursework) degrees listed in the table below (subject to course prerequisites).

[h=2]Selection criteria for the Chancellor’s Scholars’ Programs[/h]
- Students must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or the IB in Australia in the year prior to entry (students must either enrol immediately or be granted a deferral in the year following Year 12);
- Students who achieve an ATAR/notional ATAR of 99.90 or above and have satisfied the undergraduate course prerequisites will be guaranteed a place in the relevant Chancellor’s Scholars’ Program (the guarantee does not apply for the Bachelor of Music where there are extra requirements).
