A friend of mine has gotten an atar of 78.40, and is wondering if he can get into BACHELOR OF CHIROPRACTIC SCIENCE that has a cut off of 80.70. Would he be able to get in (with Maths extension 1 and 2). And, are there anything he needs to know about the course and uni in general?

I'd say your friend has a good chance. The maximum is 5 bonus points for HSC performance. What bands did you friend achieved in maths? I don't study @ Macquarie Uni so I wouldn't say much about this uni.

If your friend also applied for EAS (Lighthouse Scheme), it'll put it in a greater chance, but the HSC performance seems well off.
