You can do a bcomm and major in actuarial studies and finance at unsw if you want to. Personally I think you are better off combining actuarial studies with something other than finance (economics, computer science, statistics?) as most of what you study in finance is already covered under the actuarial studies degree.

unsw is going to introduce a bachelor of actuarial studies either in 2012 or 2013, with a 99+ cutoff

Note: im interested in maybe doing investment banking or some kind of job to do with finance

Macquarie has a strong reputation in commerce, they also have the largest actuarial program in NSW. Main point is that you can do internships as part of your degree which gives you an edge when it comes to getting graduate positions.
