i guess u can make a judgement like tat cos you actually know what we do :p

They are still meant to do the 42wk full academic year but there is credit from the time in their Independent Learning Project (ILP) .... u know the few months that medical students go do mandatory research..

Uni of Melb calls it Advanced Medical Science (AMS) and theirs spans 3rd yr makes them eligible for a BMedSc as a result.

But hey at ANU they let u fasttrack 3 yrs science degrees (PhB) into a 2yr program if ure smart enough so its not really exclusive or new...
Im pretty sure they let u do this at UNSW or Usyd?

3831 Bachelor of Science (Medicine) Honours
This is a one-year research program offered to students in the Medicine program who have achieved a high standard in their studies.

This is the new program:
3802 Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery
This is the six-year undergraduate Medicine program.

instead or including..

well thats questionable as the ILP is suppose to be a like a mini-research project :)

yes im sure.. because.. my friends were in the new program
