Get ready for a hard time....
If your fluent with maths and programming, you'll do fine.
First year subjects are in my opinion hard maths. Of course i only did 2 unit Mathematics so i cant talk. My friend who is in engineering says there is a real high failure rate in Engineering mathemetics, and so i've heard from the student centre.
ANd you'll do more hours than most students, but you get to have the best facilities too. Your computer room is in Building Y, ground building, and my friend sneaked me in [you need a password to get in] and your computer are all fast broadband internet and you get free printing.
Good Luck, hope you do yourselves good.
