Hey all,

I did the crime fiction elective for this module a couple of years ago and just came across a FABULOUS film for it.

Its a french film called '8 Women' on foxtel's world movies atm for those of you who have it.

Its bloody fantastic for anyone who is studying the real inspector hound, as it draws a lot from it, much like mouse trap i think?... im pretty sure theres a play out there called mouse trap.

Anyway, i advise you to check it out. I don't think its that well known, so you guys could spice your papers up with some originality by using this film.

It was also quite an enjoyable watch.

Ahh yes 8 Femmes haha
My friend used that movie for an analytical presentation we had to give earlier this year and it worked quite well. I enjoyed the movie as well - the conventions are all either subverted or challenged and it's quite a good movie to pick for cri fi.
