hey, I noticed you're doing biomedical science, can I ask a few Q's about first year science ? If I am doing a B. Science, can I do the biomedical stream ( or any other ) straight away ? And also are there any compulsory subjects for a straight B. Science

I dont know the story with a straight B. Science but in biomed you are set to do. chem 110 120, bio 110 120, stats 100 psyc 110 120 and bioethics in first year. Most of the other science studens do at least the same bio, chem and stats subjects. It seems you really dont get to specialise until 2nd year anyway.

I think it is a case of everyone is doing a B. Science and then you just choose the subjects they suggest in the handbook to gain access to areas of further interest to you / the stream you want.

BTW how hard is stats ? I am REALLY POOR at maths - how hard compared to 2U maths in year 12 ? ( I found that *really* difficult, but had to do it )
