hey guys, as the title says i am trying to get into that course, however i failed to reach the cut-off mark as i scored 86 ATAR. Also I only recently been informed about the FEAS and realise it is too late to apply. Is there any other way i could be possibly accepted into the course?

You doon't know the cut-off mark. That was last years. Just hope. It could go up or down.

If I'm well above the cut-off from last year, can I still apply for bonus marks just for the sake of it ?

Are you talking about HSC Plus? Those bonus points are automatically added.

You may not get in with the main round offers but may get in later round offers.
Failing that, try and get into a science degree,
do Engg1000
Math(1131)
phys(1131 preferred or 1121)
and you will probably need to do a computing course, I don't think you can undertake comp1911 while doing a science degree so try do computing for engineers.
You will need to do more courses in second semester and then try and transfer out, then undertake some summer semester courses if you want to finish on time.

Best of luck.
