The required ATAR for Bachelor of Interior Architecture in 2010 is 87.1.

My HSC ATAR is 78.4, however I get bonus points -

+ 5 for disadvantaged school (EAS)
+ 3 for band 6 visual arts
+ 2 for band 5 advanced english

total: + 10 points.

therefore my atar would be 88.4.

would i be able to get into this course?
because I am getting quite paranoid that i won't be able to :(.
.. and this course is at the top of my preference list. (if that helps)

You might, depending on whether the ATAR cut off increases or not for this year.

Just put your preferences in the order that you want them ie Bachelor of Interior Architecture first if you want it first. That way if you can get it you'll get in, otherwise they'll look at your 2nd choice etc etc.

well the atar cut off for this year is 87.1, so i should be able to get in.
if the atar cut off is higher than the atar i have, would there any chance to get into that course?

There'll still be a good chance for you since ATAR cut offs don't usually fluctuate that much :)

i think unsw has a limit on the maximum bonus points that you can have, even if you are illegible for more, i think the max is 6 or 7 for unsw

Unless you qualify for that Elite Athletes/Performers scholarship, then combine that with HSC plus, you qualify for a maximum of 10 bonus points. =P
