One of the places you can do it is in the quad store.

Quad store is the only place I know of although there may be others. Go to the couter and buy a spine and then the machines are out the back. There is normally a large queue there when there are a lot of assignments due.

There's also that newsagency place near the Roundhouse I think (or did that get shut down?)
And there are signs to teach you how to use it but in my experience, they were shit and I had to get someone to help me.

the one down near the roundhouse is still there

the quad store one doesn't have any signs teaching you how to use it...not that i know of anyways

you can just ask someone to show you how, that's how i learnt
it's really simple and easy to learn

You can do it at Java@Java, the spine is like $1.20 I think, then you pay for the covers as well, all in all it's like a few dollars... and you do the binding yourself, it's kinda fun

Java@Java is near Mathews

hmm great :( how much is this spine, is that machine hard to use?
It's not expensive. You can also get a front and back cover. I can't remember the exact price, but I think it is about a dollar or less. The machine is relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. Put the spine on the machine, then pull it open and then put pages in...I can't really explain over the net, you can probably ask the people there.

If you are talking about comb binding then thats easy.

When i bind my stuff, it doesn't take more than 1 minute to put each weeks lec notes into my lec notes booklet.. u get the hang of it after a while..

Punch--> open comb--> insert paper(the hardest especially when the papers been folded, used etc) --> shut comb
