is it the crooke's dark space or faraday's dark space that expands and covers the whole tube???????

well i dont know if its in the syllabus, since i hardly look at it.
but i remember seeing an exam question on this.

it is the crookes dark space, its not the whole tube as there is a tiny glow at the very end of the anode.


also just asking, when the electrons are fired out at the cathode does it have constant acceleration or constant velocity when getting to the cathode. and also why the higher the velocity the more chance it has of hitting particles in the tube?
