i remember back in yr 10 wen my careers advisor sed sumthing about to UNI early so u can basically reserve u position or sumthing. Yea so bsaically how does this work?

Depending on the uni, there is a thing called early entry, which applies to some courses. Basically, based on your school assessment and sometimes your trial results, some unis may accept you early and guarantee you a place at uni before you even start your HSC...

I think that around Sydney, they usually take early entry for science, IT, engineering and teaching, but there are probably more.
