Hey im considering moving to Kirrawee once i finish school.

Anyone who use to or currently lives, know what it's like there?

I used to, its quite shite - the train station is small and doesn't recieve as many trains as it needs. The area is also full of bogans and housing commission places. E.g next door to me was a prostitute with her addict boyfriend, other side was a methadone user that had kids who shat on their bedroom floor, a few doors down there was also the aboriginal guy who burned another person's townhouse down and schizo woman whose boyfriend pissed on her kids.

So yeah, Kirrawee isn't that great but as a plus it IS cheap - you can get 3 bedroom places for less than $300 pw and there are places there where you can buy lunch + drinks for $5 or $6.

never lived there, but i have been there. i didnt really want to go again. but, it's probably cheap as mentioned above. so thats one good thing lol.

I know that area but not too well. It's down in the shire. I don't think it's a bad place. Its got its own train station and it's close to Sutherland.

It's not as dense as oither parts of sydney and so a lot of houses are on large blocks of land.

yep kirrawee is good

catch the train to the beach, train to the city..or anywhere

nice leafy, quiet place thats cheaper than living closer to the beach

id live there..i live in caringbah

shire actually = good .. its a chilled place thats close to the beach and train line can take you anywhere you want to go..fairly close to the city..plus its heaps safe you never feel in danger

the shire is seriously good despite the whole cronulla riots media thing but it really isnt like that in day-to-day life

never lived there but i go to school there.

quiet. trees. no traffic. if that's what you like.

there IS a train station but the train comes every half an hour. not exactly the most convenient of train lines to be living on.

all in all, its a bit more than a bit of a hole.

Hahahaha..kirrawee high with the tanken centre? we used to go there for japanese excursions every year from year 9-12, it was quite fun, even if the material was quite repetitive...

it's always so much fun.
only been there twice though, once with my old school.

repetitive yes, but the obentoo's are good!

i live in kirrawee but its on the other side more like kareela
but it is nice in my opinion
