Yeah, I am doing one at USyd...I did American Maths, and I need to bridge across to the Australian system.

hehe, yeah, american junior/senior math is all caculus and no algebra. I struggled with the algebra when I came back here for year 12

are bridging courses worth it or r we better just getting a hsc 2u maths text and learning calc?

But Australian HSC has pretty much no algebra. We never touched matrices or anything :S

I'm doing the morning ext1 course at USYD too.

$5 more but I'd save that over the travel for two weeks. Plus you can go to the maths help room or whatever it is.

I count polynomials and conics as algebra:mad1:

Yeah, American maths is a pain lol. Then they make you do the SAT when you have no recollection of your Alegbra...Are people generally ok in QMA after a bridging course?
