Yes, I have researched Roman Literature.

For references you could use Suetonius, Tacitus etc...

You can find information in Dianne Hennesey's book, and also go to a search engine and type in "ancient roman literature"

The Augustan Golden Age is a good place to start... Scullard and the Cambridge provide good information on this.
