i do feel sorry for those who are still under 18 after they finish their hsc who can't go out to all places.
I think (my point) and I assume blue_chameleon's point had been not the days following Ambition, where the birthday's will fall, but more so on the 6 months between January and June, of 1986. You would still be in Year 12, if you were born on the 30th of June, 1986. (And equally, the 1st of July, 1985).

Hmm... my post (first reply) is gone. Was it a taboo question? I guess I'll know if this one disappears too.

hmm yes catering for a large variety of age groups would be quite difficult, but why dont you guys check the ID, and then provide the person with a little wrist band to indicate that they are 18 and when they purchase drinks they must show it.

I'm there! I'd much prefer a BBQ/lunch and social meet, over a dance party where there will be alcohol.

I'm a better person in the presence of sunlight and shade (instead of being cooped up in a dark place *looks around his room*) ;)

I prefer the shade, and I am rarely ever seen in direct sunlight (think of me as a vampire ;)) - when I'm at home on the computer, I am in an open space, but it is also confining (it will be more confining when I move my PC into my room, where I'll be cooped up all day long :p). The dark is great, plenty of things can happen when nobody knows who you are, or where your hands are. *evil laugh*

But in a comfortable setting, for example the (proposed) BBQ, I would think that I am more likeable, as a person, since I'll be having a (non-alcoholic) drink, having a sausage sizzle and what not, rather than in a dance-party "night-club" environment. :)

That's why you should buy it in advance at $20 ;)
