After like next week iam going to have an early start to my holiday. My plan is to get my homework done ASAP and go out & relax a little (e.g. easter shows etc)..but i also want to do a few things in this holiday so could someone recommend me a place where they hold these kinda activity..(Iam located in Kogarah but willing 2 travel)

A place where you can meet people who plays various sport (e.g. basketball) and you learn how to play it properly..or any other sport :/

Um this may sound weird but like a place where ltos of people go and u can meet some new friends..

Maybe a debating/speech thingy where u can improve your speaking skill (mine is horrible)

Some kinda volunteer places where you can actually learn some valuable lesson and meet new people (something like the Animania volunteer thing)

So if anyone could give me some recommendation that would be awesome
Cheers:)

Get mags and go socialise with the other party-goers in town. You'll meet shitloads of people.

No.. fuck that! Get paid for work, far more rewarding.. Volunteering can't pay your alcohol and fuel bills!

do you guys do any volunteers work?
I do, at the Zig Zag Railway, but that's probably not the kind of volunteer work you'd be looking for...

You could always go help the homeless or something, that's what our year co-ordinator's getting us to do in the holidays as a compulsory activity for part of a day...

Well David, if you've got a spare grand or 2 lying around, you could always take flying lessons at Banksown Aiport.

There's one flying school in particular there that do holiday programs that take students from zero hours right up to the solo stage. Trust me, it's a fun hobby.

Until the money runs out of course...

Well I volunteer at my local vinnies, you don't meet anyone your own age but its fairly breezy and fun. There is also a Vinnies food van that I do once a month, its a really good eye opener for other walks of life, and a lot of yr12ers do that.

You could always join a sport team, you don't have to be athletic to do a sport, nowadays they cater for everyone with lower grade competitive sport. Its a good way to meet people your own age and work as a team, and you don't get fat!
