i forgot the acid/base oxide reaction laws....

eg. weak acid + weak base -> ??
and so on..

Basically in general:

strong acid + strong base -> neutral salt + water

strong acid + weak base -> acidic salt + water

weak acid + strong base -> basic salt + water

There isn't really a definite trend for weak acid + weak base but you could think of it as weak amounts of the acid and base cancelling each other out but this idea isn't really correct. :p
