Have any of you guys done it yet?
And what type of mark should we be expecting to get from these?

I got 10/10 in my MATH1141 test.

I'll do my ACCT1501 test later today or tomorrow. You should be expecting to get 20/20, obviously.

Well for the Math1141/31 you get like 5 attempts and its the highest mark from the 5. So its pretty hard to not get 10/10 since the questions are identical except for the change in numbers.
Did it today wasn't sure whether we had to actually use "Maple"

ACCT I dunno why but it did it Sunday night at 11:30pm, managed 18/20 with no preparation. It was pretty much TUT questions.

One more assignment to go this week ><", then comes next week and following weeks after that =.=

Yeah, I didn't know whether we had to use Maple or not so myself and two colleagues got a computer in the Red Centre.

And... hey, nice work on 18/20! That gives me confidence as I go into it tomorrow. So it's just theory and some calculations, correct?

Its nothing left field just an extension of tutorial questions.
some questions categorising accounts ie Which if the following is an asset
some questions that have a list of accounts and says calculate asset/liability SE or profits/revenues
some things about accrual stuff
and i got this weird question that i didnt understand.
i think that was pretty much it.

I still get confused with figuring out whats revenue/expenses and prepayment things. I think thats where my 2 marks were lost.

It's due Friday at 3pm or something. Do it before Friday so you can complain to them if something goes wrong - like if your internet cuts out half way through.

I know a few people - via the Blackboard thing - who have had issues with it.

if u get 9's u'll get rounded up anyway in the end. From memory they were worth 4%, so 3.6-> 4.
don't think they were that hard though...

Doubt it. I think that they add all the bits (exams/computing etc) and then round at the very end. But in the scheme of things 1/10 on a class test usually makes bugger all difference at the end of session.

Well for CHEM comp assignments we get them weekly and they add up to 10% ie each week is 1%. You get 3 attempts and within those 3 you don't get 5/5 you don't get that 1% ie you get 0%

Sounds like chemists haven't managed to get beyond integer arithmetic...

The trick with the chem quizes is to hang around the Dalton lab and ask everyone if they got the answers.
